Who we are
Nonprofit Women in Tech is a registered 501C3 organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. Our mission is to empower women who lead nonprofits and foster their passion for integrating innovative technologies into their organizations. We recognize that technology is not only the present but also the future, making it essential for nonprofits to leverage its potential. At Nonprofit Women in Tech, we offer comprehensive support to our members, helping them tap into the benefits of various Google for Nonprofit programs. Through our organization, members gain access to invaluable resources such as Google Workspace for Nonprofit, Google Ad Grants, the Google Nonprofit YouTube program, as well as Google Earth and Maps. These programs enable nonprofits to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and amplify their reach. We provide training sessions on a range of topics including fundraising techniques, effective supporter engagement, grant writing tips, and marketing and promotion strategies.
Furthermore, our community offers a collaborative space where women who own nonprofits can connect with one another. This networking opportunity allows for knowledge sharing, idea exchange, and mutual support. Most importantly, we equip our members with the necessary skills to leverage Google technologies, enabling them to maximize their nonprofit's capacity and impact. Founder
Shantel Odidi, the founder of "Nonprofit Women in Tech," is a highly experienced tech professional with a strong background in nonprofit management. She holds a Harvard certification in Sustainability in Business, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, a Master's degree in Cybersecurity, and is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on innovation and strategy. Shantel is a Google Women Tech Makers Ambassador, dedicated to promoting women in the tech industry. Her passion lies in helping women in nonprofits harness the power of technology for their organizations' success.
